Trauma & Dissociation-Israel
Trauma and Dissociation Israel (TDIL) is a component group of the International Society for the Study of
Trauma and Dissociation (ISSTD) and is affiliated with the European Society for Trauma and Dissociation
(ESTD).TDIL serves as the professional home for Israeli mental health professionals, physicians,
social workers, and counselors who are interested in trauma and dissociation. As a non-profit organization our aims are to:
Promote Israeli research and knowledge of dissociation and psychological trauma
Develop strategies for the treatment of complex post-traumatic stress and dissociative disorders;
Promote training in the identification and treatment of post traumatic stress disorders and
dissociative disorders;
Provide professional and public education about dissociative disorders;
Support national communication and cooperation among clinicians and investigators working in the
field of complex traumatization and dissociation;
Promote the understanding of culture-bound dissociative phenomena
Promote Israeli research and knowledge of dissociation and psychological trauma
